Genesis 2:1-2 Says:
Thus, the heavens and the earth were completed in all their vast array. By the seventh day God had finished the work he had been doing; so, on the seventh day he rested from all his work. 3 Then God blessed the seventh day and made it holy, because on it he rested from all the work of creating that he had done. (NIV)
 
The Bible introduces God to us as a Worker. For six consecutive days. He created systems that are still in operation today. Consider the many kinds of work God did in just creating the world: artist, designer, chemist, project developer, zoologist, programmer, strategic planner, waste management technician, chemist, biologist, just to name a few. 
This picture of God as a Worker gives us insight on what our lives should mirror. 
 
This training manual called, "Rediscovering the Ministry of the Saints" speaks to the need for Saints to realign their thoughts back to God's original purpose. The Marketplace or "workplace" is an open field of men and women who are worried, suffering, and crying out for answers. God has an answer for them - and that answer is YOU! You have been strategically placed right in their midst! We must go to our jobs representing hope and being a bridge back to our wonderful Savior. The harvest is plenteous ... and it's time to labor in the marketplace as a WORKER!
